High School Strippers at Campus Talent Show Under Investigation

(CBS/KCBS)

PARAMOUNT, Calif. (CBS/KCBS/AP) Boys will be boys...and then some.

A talent show at Paramount High School turned into an episode of "Guys Gone Wild" after male students stripped and pranced seductively in underwear and speedos. And now authorities are investigating the matter.

Audience members at the school's annual "Mr. Paramount" contest even ran onto the stage and placed $1 bills into the strippers' jocks, reports CBS affiliate KCBS.

"I was mortified," one outraged parent told the station. "They were simulating sexual acts on the stage."

The principal of the Los Angeles County school was reportedly in attendance but according to the parent did nothing to stop the strippers from continuing.

Links to several of the videos of the event have already been yanked off of YouTube.

In one of the videos, a 17-year-old boy is in jeans and a t-shirt and what looks to be a Superman cape and then suddenly strips down to nothing but his socks and a Speedo. The video continues with another student gyrating on the stage where audience members, male and female, race up to put money in the boy's shorts.

One performer, Christian Dominguez, told reporters that it was a spur of the moment decision and he simply wanted to "pump up the class."

That he did. Now the Paramount Unified School District has begun an investigation.

Superintendent David Verdugo says the performance was inappropriate and the assistant principal who was present has been placed on administrative leave while the district investigates who arranged and managed the acts.

No students have been disciplined...yet.
