Herve Leger Collection is sleek and neutral for spring
NEW YORK - (CBS) Max Azria made his second trip to the tents at Lincoln Center - this time to debut his pret-a-porter Spring 2012 high end Herve Leger Collection at New York Fashion Week.
The high-voltage runway show featured Leger's trademark bandage dresses and contoured architectural silhouette, designed to hug the body. A gradient palette of neutrals and black was enriched by polished golds and platinums. The look was sleek, with bold detail adding a punch in jaw-dropping designs that will have fashionistas drooling.

The silhouettes for the dresses had a futuristic feel to them and the highly successful designer said "we are already designing for 2020..it's a new century after all." Azria maintained the allure and femininity of his pieces, however, tailoring them with bandaged peplum hems and fringe work. Accessories included short leather jackets embellished with aztec inspired metal detail. Braiding, woven patterns and macrame also added a new twist to the sensual look he crafted for the season.
A favorite of A-listers, celebrities and socialites, when asked why they turn time and time again to his Herve Leger creations, he said "they hug the body and the butt" and "make all women feel confident about themselves."
Edgy accessories, paired with sexy, high heel gladiator boots in taupe and black completed an out-of-this-world look fit for the new millennium.
