According to toptenrealestatedeals.com, the home with disappearing glass walls, a covered lanai, an outdoor kitchen and views of the Pacific Ocean and Kailua Bay, is down the street from the house the Obamas had been renting since 2008.

The new home is furnished in South Seas plantation style and has a lagoon-type pool-spa.

David Dunham of Hawaii Beach Rentals, who is managing the leasing arrangements, told the website the house will go up for sale after the Obamas go back to Washington. The price will be about $7.9 million, he said.

He refused to comment on what the rental cost was.
