Gwyneth Paltrow reveals miscarriage: "I nearly died"

Gwyneth Paltrow has two children with husband Chris Martin -- daughter Apple, 8, and Moses, 6.

But in a new interview, the "Iron Man" actress revealed that she suffered a miscarriage while pregnant with her third child.

"My children ask me to have a baby all the time. And you never know, I could squeeze one more in. I am missing my third. I'm thinking about it," she told The Mail on Sunday's You magazine. "But I had a really bad experience when I was pregnant with my third. It didn't work out and I nearly died. So I am like, 'Are we good here or should we go back and try again?'"

Paltrow, 40, also gushed about her Coldplay frontman husband.

"Regardless of what happens in our marriage, I chose the best father. He is so good to the children, and to know that you had kids with such a good man is like a real weight off you. We are committed co-parents, we make all the decisions together and we lean on each other for support as well," she said, adding, "My husband makes me laugh every day. He is hilarious -- he could have been a comedian, but he keeps it under wraps. He can laugh me out of a bad moment just like that."

Martin and Paltrow's famous friends have also contributed to her thinking about another baby. In the interview, she said Jay-Z and Beyonce's 14-month-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, is "totally delish" and has made her "very broody."
