Gwyneth Paltrow joins Facebook, Twitter
(CBS) Better late than never. Actress Gwyneth Paltrow joined Twitter and launched a Facebook page on Wednesday.
The Oscar-winner marked her debut to the world of social media by posting a video of herself walking down a street in white blazer and ponytail.
"I'm trying to join the 21st century," she says in the clip. "I'm on Facebook and Twitter. But not right now, I'm walking down the street looking for a cab."
She later shared a pictureof her two children, Apple and Moses, with the accompanying post, "M+A at coldplay secret gig new songs=genius."
As of Thursday afternoon, Paltrow has collected almost 40,000 Twitter followers and 58,500 Facebook "likes."
