"Grim Reaper" attacks woman in California home

VISTA, Calif. - A California woman says she was attacked and stabbed in her home by an intruder dressed as the Grim Reaper on Halloween.

Sheriff's Sgt. Nick Maryn says the woman was treated for a scratch to her scalp and injuries to her upper body and back.

The paper reports the woman told police she believes her attack was a woman based on the voice.

It's unclear how the intruder got into the home. Deputies used dogs to search the area but couldn't find the attacker.
