"Green Lantern" stars step out for premiere
(CBS) For a movie called "Green Lantern," it's surprising that there wasn't a green carpet for the cast to walk down at its premiere.
Instead, stars including Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard and Tim Robbins stepped out on a stylish black carpet at the superhero film's debut on Wednesday in Los Angeles.

Reynolds said that making the special-effects-heavy film - much of which was made using motion capture and green screen technologies - wasn't easy.
"It was six very challenging months, to be honest with you," he told CBSNews.com's Scott Edward. "Movies like this are really, really tough to shoot, and it's almost engineering beyond filmmaking. It was really an eye-opening experience for me."
Based on the DC Comic book, the film tells the story of Jordan, a military pilot who becomes the first human to join the Green Lanterns, a group of extra-terrestrial warriors who use their powers to defend the universe.
Lively plays Jordan's love interest, Carol Ferris, and Mark Strong plays the villain Sinestro.
Strong told Edward he enjoyed playing the bad guy. "You get all the best lines, you get the best clothes and you can be bad - and that's OK," he said.
The film opens in theaters tomorrow.
