(CBS/KPHO/AP) PHOENIX - Three adults, including the child's grandmother, are facing charges in the death of a 2-year-old Phoenix girl who was found unresponsive inside an apartment on March 11, authorities said Wednesday.

Prosecutors charged 43-year-old Juanita Rodriguez, 32-year-old Humelio Dominguez-Vazquez and 37-year-old Christopher Lopez with multiple felony counts of child abuse in the death of 2-year-old Juanita Buelna, who is Rodriguez's granddaughter.

Juanita died after being taken to a local hospital.

The cause of death has not been determined, but prosecutors say Juanita had scars on her back, bottom, arms and legs, a healing skull fracture, and severe burns on her leg, foot and top of her hand.

The exact cause and manner of death has not been determined pending a medical examiner's report.

All three defendants remain in custody. Bail for Rodriguez and Lopez is set at $150,000 and Dominguez-Vazquez is being held without bail, reports CBS affiliate KPHO.
