GOP Conference To Follow Afternoon Votes

House Republicans will conference this afternoon in the Cannon Caucus Room immediately following the first series of votes around 4 o'clock, according to a notice that just went out to member offices.

This will be a key test of support for the tentative agreement negotiators announced early this morning. Republican Whip Roy Blunt, his party's chief negotiator in these talks, told reporters after that announcement was made that he would not sign off on a package until his members had sufficient time to review it.
