Google Desktop Now Available for Linux
More Google goodness today: Google Desktop is now available for Linux. Sporting nearly all the features of its Windows counterpart (well, the first version, anyway), Google Desktop indexes the data on your hard drive for lightning-fast searches. After installation, just press the Ctrl key twice to launch the Quick Search box, then type your search parameters. Google Desktop indexes documents, images, e-mail, Web history, and more. Needless to say, it's a free program, and a must-have for anyone who lives in Linux.
