Goodling Points Finger At Sampson On Possible Hiring Violations At Justice

Monica Goodling, the former senior advisor to Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, pointed the finger at Kyle Sampson, Gonzales' ex-chief of staff, over potential hiring violations she may have committed at the Justice.

Goodling told the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday that she had "crossed the line" by considering political affiliation when reviewing job applicants for career positions at DOJ, which is illegal under federal law.
