"Glee" Star Jane Lynch is Engaged

"Glee" star Jane Lynch is engaged to her longtime girlfriend, psychologist Lara Embry, the actress confirmed Monday.

Lynch, who plays sharp-tongued cheerleading coach Sue Sylverster on the popular Fox musical comedy series, told People magazine at the "Glee" mid-season premiere party in Los Angeles that she's "thrilled" about the engagement.

"It's really great. I never thought that this is something I wanted," she continued. "It's just the greatest thrill in the world to find somebody that you want to be with every day."

No date for the wedding has been announced.
