Geraldo: Tom's Terrific, Really

Geraldo Rivera says he's not gunning for Tom Brokaw's job after all. Rivera told TV Guide that he wants to be "the news anchor for the next millennium."

But now Rivera is saying that he meant anchoring his shows Upfront Tonight and Rivera Live -- not NBC Nightly News.

Rivera says he has "deep respect and affection" for his colleagues at the network. And that includes Tom Brokaw, who hasn't had anything nice to say about Rivera publicly since he joined NBC.

Rivera says Brokaw is a "great newsman" -- and that the rivalry between the two of them is "grossly overstated."
