Gerald "Scott" Calbeck sentenced for kidnap, murder of Kan. teen Keighley Ann Alyea
(CBS) - Gerald "Scott" Calbeck was sentenced Wednesday to 27 ½ years in prison for his role in the kidnapping and murder of 18-year-old Kansan Keighley Ann Alyea, a report says.

Calbeck, 20, had previously pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of intentional second-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery related to the death of Aleya, reports the Kansas City Star.
According to police, three men, including her ex-boyfriend, Justin Hilt, and his cousin, Joseph Mattox, kidnapped Alyea southwest of Kansas City on Sept. 30, 2009, reports the Star.
Alyea suffered 30 stab wounds and a fractured skull. Her body was found days later in a field.
Hilt was sentenced to almost 69 years in prison in July 2010. Mattox's trial started in early April. He has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder and aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery of Alyea, reports the Star.
