George Huguely sentencing to be scheduled for Yeardley Love murder

(CBS/AP) CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Former University of Virginia lacrosse player George Huguely V is scheduled to learn his sentencing date Monday for killing his ex-girlfriend, Yeardley Love.

Huguely was found guilty second-degree murder in February for the beating death of Love, who was also a UVA lacrosse player. 

Attorneys for Huguely are set to appear in Charlottesville Circuit Court on Monday for a scheduling hearing. The 24-year-old faces up to 26 years on the second-degree murder conviction and a guilty finding on another count related to Love's slaying.

Attorneys for Huguely have already asked a judge for a hearing on a motion to have the case retried.
