NEW YORK (CBS) Rocker Gene Simmons was hospitalized briefly after reportedly fainting at Los Angeles' LAX airport on Sunday.

Sources close to Simmons told TMZ.com that he hit his head after fainting and was rushed to the hospital.

He suffered a cut on his forehead, and, after tests were run, doctors concluded it was just dehydration, according to the sources.

The KISS frontman was photographed leaving Centinela Hospital in Inglewood, Calif., the next day.
