(CBS News) Gary Oldman performed a dramatic reading - in a tux and white evening scarf, no less - from R&B singer R. Kelly's autobiography, "Soulacoaster: The Diary of Me" on Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Tuesday night.

The Oscar-nominated British actor read the excerpt, in his posh accent, about a conversation between Kelly and the late rapper Tupac Shakur about possibly making an album together and letting it "do what it do."

The sketch is the second comedy video the actor has made for Kimmel. Last month, Oldman taped a "PSA" for a group called Actors Against Athletes Acting, in which he erupts into rage about athletes trying to cross over into acting.

The actor stars in "The Dark Knight Rises" out later this month.
