Gabriela Compton: Phoenix teacher's aide busted for sex with student

(CBS/KPHO) PHOENIX - Phoenix police arrested 20-year-old middle school teacher's aide Gabriela Compton Thursday on suspicion of having sexual contact with two students.

Compton is accused of sending a picture of her breasts to some male students, according to police Sgt. Tommy Thompson. According to court paperwork, the nude picture was circulated throughout the school, reports CBS affiliate KPHO.

In the course of the investigation, officers learned Compton previously had sexual contact with two male students, ages 13 and 14, Thompson said.

Police were alerted to the case by the principal and teachers at Western Valley Middle School, Thompson said.

Compton allegedly admitted to sending the nude photo and to a sexual relationship with one of the students during a confrontation call, KPHO reports.

She was arrested at her home and booked into the Maricopa County Jail, Thompson said.

Compton is facing four counts of sexual conduct with a minor, two counts of sexual abuse and one count of furnishing obscene material to a minor, Thompson said.

School district officials would not comment on whether Compton's employment has been terminated.
