(CBS) ATLANTA - Joshua Measroch, a 21-year-old college student, was arrested on Friday after being accused of keeping a 13-year-old girl in his room for a month, reported the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Measroch and the minor had supposedly been talking online for three months, police told the paper. Authorities said that at the time of her disappearance, the teen was a frequent user of social media.

According to an arrest warrant, on May 2, the suspect allegedly drove 50 miles to pick the girl up at her home, said the paper.

The warrant stated that while Measroch kept the girl in his room, "The accused engaged in various indecent acts with the child," reported the Journal Constitution.

Deputy Cortney Morrison of the Newton County Sheriff's office said authorities worked with the minor's parents to find her, according to the paper.

Jail records show that Measroch has been charged with rape, aggravated child molestation, child molestation, enticing a child for indecent purpose, and interference with custody, said the paper.

The suspect is reportedly being held without bond.
