"Frozen": Police in Ky. town point to Disney's Elsa for brutal cold

HARLAN, Ky. -- Wanna know who's to blame for the frigid winter weather in Kentucky?

Police in Harlan, Ky. think they've figured it out -- they're on the lookout for Disney's Elsa, of "Frozen" fame.

Cops in the small, rural town posted this Facebook message Wednesday:

"All points bulletin!!! (Harlan Police Department) has issued an arrest warrant for Queen Elsa of Arendelle. Suspect is a blonde female last seen wearing a long blue dress and is known to burst into song 'Let it Go!' As you can see by the weather she is very dangerous. Do not attempt to apprehend her alone."

Police soon posted another message, telling residents that "all kidding aside," they should take the weather seriously and be careful.

More than a foot of snow fell in parts of Kentucky this week, and then bitterly cold temperatures moved in Wednesday night and were expected for several days.
