Fossella Arrested For DWI In Virginia

Republican Rep. Vito Fossella of New York was arrested in Alexandria. Va., Wednesday night for driving under the influence, according to The Washington Post.

His office would not immediately comment on the report.

Virginia has strict rules against driving under the influence, including severe punishments for anyone prosecuted on those charges. Fossella is scheduled to appear in court on May 12, according to the Post.
