Former Rep. Jennifer Dunn Dies

Former Rep. Jennifer Dunn (R-Wash.) has died at age 66, according to the Seattle Post Intelligencer.

A statement from her son, Reagan Dunn, said: "Jennifer collapsed from a pulmonary embolism in her Alexandria, Va. apartment and never regained consciousness. She passed peacefully surrounded by family."

Dunn, a staunch conservative, served in the House from 1992 to 2004, when she retired. Since then, Dunn had been a lobbyist with the firm DLA Piper Rudnick, although she was no longer with the company at the time of her death.
