(CBS/WLTX) LEXINGTON, S.C. - Police in South Carolina are searching for suspects who stole a forklift from a church, then used the machine to take an ATM from a Lexington bank.

Police told CBS affiliate WLTX that an alarm went off at a First National Bank around 5:30 a.m. Sunday.

When police arrived, they found the ATM was gone, and a forklift in the parking lot.

Officers say the forklift was taken from the Northside Baptist Church construction site.

Surveillance video shows the suspects, with the help of the forklift, loading the ATM into the bed of a Dodge Ram pickup.

The truck had been stolen from the Lauren Ridge Apartments just before the ATM was taken.

Police say the truck is a 2000 Ram 1500 quad can with state tag VT4 645.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC
