Fla. woman stabbed boyfriend after his dog ate her marijuana, police say

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. A South Florida woman allegedly attacked her boyfriend with a knife after his dog ate her marijuana, reports the Sun Sentinel.

According to CBS Tampa, the arrest report says police were called Sunday evening to the apartment of 26-year-old Shadae Scott after a report of a domestic dispute.

The boyfriend, Kevin Wiggens, told police the couple got into a fight because his dog ate her stash of marijuana. He said Scott kicked him out of the apartment but was hiding his personal property.

He added she started attacking him with the knife after he asked for his computer.

Scott told deputies that her boyfriend kept walking into her knife as the two argued, according to the court documents.

She said the fight was over dinner plans and turned physical after she tried to leave the apartment.

When Wiggins tried to stop her from leaving, Scott brandished a pocket knife for protection, according to her statement.

"Scott added that during one of the many times during the argument, Wiggins walked into the knife and cut himself," wrote Sheriff's Deputy Laughten Hall.

Scott told a Broward County judge she does modeling work. She was charged with a single count of battery.

Her boyfriend, Kevin Wiggins, suffered small knife cuts in the face and head and one across his hand.

There is no word on the fate of the dog.
