Fla. man used gun to rob teen of remote control car, police say
(CBS) OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. - Efrain Burgos-Delgado, a 35-year-old Florida man, was arrested after allegedly using a gun to rob a teen of his remote control car.
Burgos-Delgado faces multiple charges including armed robbery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after police say he robbed a 16-year-old in Kissimmee, Fla. at gunpoint on April 6.
According to a news release from the Osceola County Sheriff's Office, the suspect fled with the remote control car and then returned and took the victim's cell phone, too.
The investigation eventually led detectives to identify Burgos-Delgado as a potential suspect, according to the news release.
Delgado was brought in for questioning and reportedly cooperated with the investigation. Police say he told detectives he sold the remote control car to purchase drugs.
He was booked into the Osceola County Jail.
