(CBS) DELTONA, Fla. - An unidentified Florida man allegedly tried to pay his water bill in cocaine, reports CBS Tampa Bay.

According to the West Volusia Beacon, the man handed in an envelope containing cocaine to officials at the Deltona Water Office on Monday morning.

Since officials did not know the origin or identity of the white powder, the office was initially evacuated while deputies with the Volusia County Sheriff's Office, as well as HAZMAT teams from the Deltona Fire Department and Volusia County Fire Services, investigated the matter.

Once the powder was tested, it was identified as cocaine, the paper reports.

The investigation is ongoing.

Btw, cocaine is not considered an acceptable way to pay your water bill in Deltona, Fla.
