(CBS/AP) OCALA, Fla. - A judge has ordered two central Florida high school students, accused of plotting to torture, kill and dismember a classmate, to remain behind bars.

The 16-year-old boys, who are charged with conspiracy to commit murder, appeared before a Marion County judge Saturday. They are not being indentified because of their age.

The boys were playing an Xbox game and discussed a plot to gag the third boy, hit him over the head and stuff him into a "Kevlar bag" so he would sink when they threw him into waters near Miami, investigators said, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

One suspect offered to bring a "torture kit" that he said he kept in the trunk of his car, deputies said. A search of the trunk revealed an ax, surgical cutting tools, a torch lighter, rope and scissors, a report states.

Parents of both boys attended the hearing Saturday and said they'll hire private attorneys. The teens do not have a prior arrest record.
