Fired pizza worker seeks revenge, robs former colleague, say Fla. cops
(CBS/WFOR) MIAMI, Fla. - A woman fired from her job at a pizza parlor for allegedly stealing customers' credit card numbers sought revenge for her dismissal by ordering a pizza and robbing a former co-worker, say police in North Miami Beach.
CBS affiliate WFOR reported that 25-year-old Elizabeth Lingerfelt worked at Munchy's Pizza between August and September of 2011. Police say as an employee, she illegally used customers' credit card numbers the entire time she worked there.
A month after being fired for said thievery, Lingerfelt called up her former place of employment from a payphone and ordered a pizza.
Later, when the delivery man arrived at her home, she confronted him with a "black semi automatic pistol," according to authorities.
Of course, the driver, Lingerfelt's former co-worker, immediately recognized her, and gave her name to police when he reported the robbery.
Lingerfelt is being held without bond, and is charged with armed robbery with a firearm, and possession of personal information for personal use for the credit card accusations.
