Filming At White House ForTV Pilot

"Grey's Anatomy" and "Private Practice" creator Shonda Rhimes is adding another show to the ABC lineup. In addition to her pair of medical dramas, she'll now be taking on another set of fictionalized professionals: journalists in Washington, D.C.

Production for the new pilot, titled "Inside the Box," is already under way. CBS News White House correspondent Mark Knoller reports that crews were shooting exterior shots of the White House on Tuesday for the show.

ABC gave the green light back in January for the show, which the network says will focus on an ambitious female news producer and her colleagues. Their extracurriculars will be more exciting than the stories they cover, according to TV Guide.

Actress Inidra Varma ("Rome") will play the leading lady, a hard-hitting news producer named Caroline, while Martin Henderson is her "McDreamy" - a coworker with whom she has an on-again, off-again relationship.

Also joining the cast, Entertainment Weekly reports, is Kim Raver ("Lipstick Jungle") and Jason George ("Eli Stone") as reporters, and Jennifer Finnigan ("Closer to Home") as a White House press secretary who becomes involved with George's character.
