LOS ANGELES (CBS) The father of former "Survivor" producer - and murder suspect - Bruce Beresford-Redman was served a restraining order, after he went to the restaurant owned by his son's slain wife, reports TMZ.

Beresford-Redman's extradition is being sought by Mexican authorities in the April slaying of his wife, Monica.

The suspect's father, David Beresford-Redman, denies going to the restaurant with any malicious intent. He says he simply went to see the general manager Norma Paula De Ahlf Saturday night, to see how the business was doing.

Court documents filed in seeking the restraining order against David stated De Ahlf believed he had a gun when he showed up.

According to TMZ, when asked if he is a threat to the restaurant manager, David Beresford-Redman said, "How can I tell you? A threat is in the eyes of the beholder."

He addressed reporters regarding the restaurant incident, and told them he was "not packing heat," but will adhere to the restraining order, says TMZ.
