Three sites were chosen Thursday for presidential debates this fall: the John F. Kennedy Library in Boston on Oct.3, Washington University in St. Louis on Oct. 11 and Wake Forest University in North Carolina on Oct. 17.
A vice presidential debate was set for Oct.5 at Centre College in Danville, Ky., according to a political source familiar with the decisions.
The selections were made by the Commission on Presidential Debates, a non-partisan organization that was created in 1987 to sponsor general election presidential and vice-presidential debates.
