Looks like Facebook is having a case of the Mondays.
Facebook users complained via Twitter that they couldn't post status updates or comments on Monday morning. The website is up and running, but it appears that Facebook experienced outages that blocked some people from posting updates on its website and mobile app.
Users who tried to post an update were met with an error message that said: "There was a problem updating your status. Please try again in a few minutes."
A spokesperson for Facebook said that the social network is back to normal and issued this statement this statement to CBSNews.com.
"Earlier this morning, while performing some network maintenance, we experienced an issue that prevented some users from posting to Facebook for a brief period of time. We resolved the issue quickly, and we are now back to 100 percent. We're sorry for any inconvenience we may have caused."
