Eva Amurri Martino pregnant with first child

Susan Sarandon is going to be a grandmother.

The actress' daughter, Eva Amurri Martino, is expecting her first child with husband Kyle Martino.

She broke the news in a Valentine's Day message to her husband Friday on Twitter, writing, "Happy Valentines day to my heart, my hero, my BABYDADDY @kylemartino!!!! I love you so much."

The couple also said in a statement: "We are so excited to announce that we are expecting our first child together. Having a family has always been a priority for us both and we couldn't be happier!" 

Sarandon tweeted that she is "escatic bout the new addition to our tribe" and "looking forward to being a grandmother."

Amurri Martino, 28, has appeared in roles on “How I Met Your Mother,” “The Mindy Project” and “New Girl.” She married soccer analyst Martino, 32, in 2011.  

Us Weekly reports that the baby is due in the summer.
