Call it a twist on that age-old plot line -- boy meets girl, boy and girl fall in love, boy and girl get engaged, then married.

When it came to the getting engaged part, an Atlanta man came up with a unique way to propose.

Alex Fay and Lisa Stern are both avid crossword puzzle fans.

So, Fay arranged to create one and get it into USA Today.

Then, he made sure Stern did it.

The answer to 58 across was, "WILLYOUMARRYME."

And the rest, as they say, is history.

Fay and Stern shared their story with Early Show co-anchor Harry Smith Friday.
