Emma Stone dating "Spider-Man" co-star Andrew Garfield, report says
(CBS) Andrew Garfield appears to have caught Emma Stone in his romantic web.
The actors, who co-star in "The Amazing Spider-Man" are dating, according to a new report.
Garfield, 27, plays Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the Marvel franchise reboot, and Stone, 22, plays his love interest Gwen Stacy.
"They got close during filming and have been hooking up," a source told Us Weekly.
According to the report, the two are keeping the relationship quiet because Garfield split with his girlfriend of three years, "Raising Hope" actress Shannon Woodward, in May. Stone recently broke up with actor Kieran Culkin, who she had been dating since last fall.
"They haven't gone public, but he's told his friends," the source said of the new couple.
"The Amazing Spider-Man" will be released on July 3, 2012.
