It's the first child for Deschanel, 34, and the "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" actor, who will appear next in the new CBS sitcom "How to be a Gentleman."

She and Hornsby married in 2010. The actress maintained a vegan diet throughout her pregnancy, according to reports.

Henry's arrival also means that Deschanel's younger sister, "New Girl" star Zooey Deschanel, has a nephew.

Back when the couple announced the pregnancy in March, Zooey tweeted: "My big sister, Emily (aka bones) Deschanel and her husby, David Hornsby, are going to have a baby! I am super excited to be an aunt!"
