Email Blitz Headed To Capitol

The Billion Byte March is ready to unload its first wave of email messages to Congress.

The messages have been collected on a Web site from people all over the country who have ideas on how to reform and save Social Security.

Tens of thousands of e-mails will be sent to Capitol Hill Wednesday. The idea is to let lawmakers hear from people who otherwise wouldn't take the time to write to their elected representatives.

The Web site is the brainchild of the Third Millennium Group, based in Washington. The group says those who don't have access to a computer can call a toll-free number to have their wishes sent along to their lawmakers. The number is 1-888-773-2287.
