Actress Elizabeth Olsen is one of five young stars shortlisted for the British Academy of Film and Television Arts' Rising Star award.

Other actors in the running are British actress Juno Temple, Swedish actress Alicia Vikander, British-born Andrea Riseborough, and India's Suraj Sharma. The list was announced on Monday.

The 23-year-old actress and younger sister of Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen has starred in "Martha Marcy May Marlene," "Silent House" and "Liberal Arts." This year, she'll appear in "Kill Your Darlings" with Daniel Radcliffe and "Very Good Girls," alongside Dakota Fanning, Demi Moore and Richard Dreyfuss.

Temple, meanwhile, said she is giddy about the nomination, especially as the winner will be chosen by the public. Recently seen in William Friedkin's "Killer Joe," she appears in three movies at Sundance Film Festival and will also star with Angelina Jolie in Robert Stromberg's "Maleficent."

The BAFTA Film awards take place on Feb. 10 in London.
