Elizabeth Banks wows in Versace at "Man on a Ledge" screening

(CBS) Elizabeth Banks donned a bombshell black and gold number for a screening of her film "Man on a Ledge" in New York on Thursday night.

The actress, 37, wore a black minidress with gold studded detailing by Versace, which she paired with tights, black booties and smoky eye makeup.

"Man on a Ledge," which also stars Sam Worthington, Jamie Bell, Kyra Sedgwick and Ed Harris, hits theaters on Jan. 27.

Banks also talked about her upcoming role as Effie Trinket in "The Hunger Games" at the event. She explained to Next Movie, "Effie is very theatrical and she's outrageous. She's like your old weird great aunt who says all the wrong things at the dinner table, and who's very judgmental and really obsessed with etiquette."
