Edit Google Spreadsheets on Your Smartphone

Last Updated Feb 13, 2009 10:13 AM EST

If you routinely rock Google Docs for your spreadsheet needs, here's good news: You can now edit Google Docs spreadsheets right on your phone.

Previously, all you could do was view them. But now, if you have an iPhone, T-Mobile G1, or Nokia S60, you can add or edit rows, filter columns by value, and sort columns.

To see this spreadsheet-editing goodness in action, just point your phone's browser to docs.google.com/m and sign into your Google Docs account.

Okay, Google, you've got my attention. This is a seriously sweet update for anyone who loves cloud computing. Now how about some editing for documents? Come on, you know you want it. I sure as hell do!
