"Early Show" Cook-Off: Fun with French Toast

NEW YORK -- Which "Early Show" anchor can boast they made the best French toast?

The "Battle For Breakfast" cook-off continued Thursday with the anchors each preparing their own version of Marysol Castrol's favorite breakfast food.

Early Show contributor Katie Lee was on hand to offer cooking tips and judge each anchors' version based on taste, and points were awarded.

On Wednesday, the anchors made Jeff Glor's favorite -- pancakes. On Tuesday, they cooked up Erica Hill's fave -- grits.

At the end of the week, the "winning" anchor will have a donation made in his or her name to his or her favorite food-based charity, and will receive the -- coveted yellow apron!

On Friday, Chef Spike Mendelsohn helps the anchors whip up Chris Wragge's favorite breakfast: eggs.

Heading into Thursday's fun, Marysol led with eight points, Erica had seven, Jeff had six, and Chris had five.
