Drive-Thru Groper: Trail of fries and sauce leads to suspect in case of unwanted advances at Arby's

Curly fries, much like these, apparently helped Pa. police nab an alleged groper at an Arby's drive-thru window Arbys.com

(CBS/AP) LANCASTER, Pa. - A trail of curly fries...and sauce...led police in central Pennsylvania to the motel room of a man suspected of groping a fast-food worker at a drive-thru window.

A female employee at an Arby's in East Lampeter Township, Pa., called police last Wednesday night to say she was groped by a man as she gave him his order through the window.

The woman gave police a description of the car, which was found outside a motel less than a mile away.

Authorities said there was a trail of Arby's curly fries and sauce from the car to the room of 36-year-old James Cowan of Fitzgerald, Ga., at a Travel Lodge, the website Gawker reported.

He was charged with a single count of indecent assault and released on bail pending a Nov. 1 hearing.

Will a trail of curly fries and sauce lead to a trial? Stay tuned.
