Dodd To Hold Emergency Meeting Of Senate Banking Committee

Senate Banking Committee Chairman Chris Dodd has called the panel together for an emergency meeting Friday morning to discuss the administration's proposal to aid the ailing American economy.

Dodd is expected to brief reporters following the 11:15 a.m. meeting.

Congress is expected to receive a plan to shore up the economy from Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson later in the day.
