Dodd Praises 'quantum Leap' From Bush On Bailout Plan
Senate Banking Committee Chairman Chris Dodd praised President Bush Wednesday night after Bush acknowledged in a primetime speech the need for limits on executive compensation and other changes to proposed bailout legislation.
“I am pleased to hear the president identify those broad areas,” said Dodd in an interview on MSNBC. “That’s a quantum leap forward. That will really help.”
Dodd said negotiations are still ongoing with the administration over the plan.
