Vietnamese news outlets are reporting that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie arrived in Vietnam on Friday morning.
The couple, who were recently in Los Angeles for the Golden Globe awards, purchased a house this week in New Orlean's French Quarter. Reports have been swirling for months that the couple are planning to add to their family, which includes son Maddox, adopted from Cambodia, and daughter Zahara adopted from Ethiopia. Jolie gave birth to their first biological child, Shiloh Nouvel, eight-months ago.
VnExpress, a local newswire, reported Friday that Nguyen Van Trung, an orphanage director in Vietnam, said that he had not heard from the couple or a publicist about adopting a child from the orphanage there.Photos: "God Grew Tired Of Us"
Nguyen Cong Khanh, Deputy Head of the International Adoption Department under the Justice Ministry, told VnExpress that the department had not received an application for adoption from them.
Brangelina made a similar surprise visit to Vietnam last November and visited the Tam Binh Orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City.
