DNA on lip balm leads to NH burglary arrest
(CBS) FARMINGTON, N.H. - Lip balm could be the undoing of a man and a woman suspected in a string of New Hampshire break-ins.
Ryan Feeney and Jacqueline Meyer were suspects in a January burglary at a Farmington home, when a search of Meyer's own home turned up a container of lip balm that proved to be a DNA match with the victimized homeowner, CBS Boston reported.
Feeney was charged with breaking into the home, Meyer for receiving stolen property.
Feeney was recently indicted on burglary charges for a series of incidents in Rochester dating back to mid-March, according to Foster's Daily Democrat newspaper. He's being held at the Strafford County House of Corrections.
Meyer is also alleged to be involved in those incidents, for which she's facing charges including receiving stolen property, drug possession, and conspiracy to commit burglary.
