Dispute over dip leads to customer-employee fight

(CBS) TROY, Mich. - What's worth fighting over? (And don't say pretzel dip is on your list.)

According to CBS Detroit, Michigan police say a couple of women who didn't like the dip that came with their pretzels at the Oakland Mall went back to the store where they bought the snacks and traded blows with the folks behind the counter.

Officials say it happened at Auntie Anne's in a mall near Troy, Mich.  Police say after the two women realized they got the wrong dip, the employees told them they would have to pay to change it, since they already ate part of what they'd bought - like it or not.

Game on.

The dissatisfied customers, according to CBS Detroit, say an employee threw dip at them, hitting one of the women and a nearby security guard.

Police say the female customers, ages 19 and 22, then tried to climb over the counter, provoking a fight. One of them suffered a minor injury.

The Troy city attorney is reviewing the pretzel-and-dip case to determine if there will be charges.

Twisted crime?
