Conflicting reports have surfaced about the celebrity couple's relationship, with E! Online reporting the couple has split while sources tell People magazine the two are merely "taking a step back" in their relationship.
E! Online's report states that sources confirmed Kardashian and Bush parted ways, and cited Kardashian's busy schedule as a reason for the split. She is currently in Miami filming the second season of the reality show "Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami" (which focuses on her two sisters) while Bush has been spotted in New York.
However, People reports that the two haven't broken up yet, but are "taking a step back" in their relationship. The magazine's source also cites Kardashian's schedule as a source of tension between her and Bush.
"They are trying to decide what to do right now," the source said. "Reggie has issues with her busy life and schedule and she can't give it all up."
People's report maintains the couple hasn't called it quits yet.
On Monday, Bush flew to Miami and spent the day with Kardashian. The magazine's source said things were "super cool between them" during the visit.
Kardashian and Bush, who began dating in 2007, briefly split in July 2009, but reconciled in September. She was in attendance when Bush and the New Orleans Saints won Super Bowl XLIV in February.
"Kim and Reggie are best friends; they really are," the source added. "It's just more that he can't deal with her life and all the fame she's gotten. She and Reggie started dating before she even had her show. They are working on seeing what they both want."
