"Dexter" Season 6 trailer tackles faith
(CBS) It looks like Dexter Morgan will be searching for faith - along with, of course, serial killers - on the upcoming season of "Dexter."
A trailer for the Showtime drama's sixth season has hit the web (watch it above), and the show's stars were on hand at Comic-Con to discuss the leading character's newfound interest in religion.

Michael C. Hall noted that Dexter isn't looking to atone for his sins. Rather, he is looking for a way to help his son, Harrison, find an identity separate from the Dark Passenger that drives the title character to kill.
"I think that's a big engine at the beginning of the season - that Dexter has tendencies that he doesn't want to pass on to his son," the actor said, according to The Wrap.
Executive producer Sara Calleton echoed Hall's sentiment, explaining that a big part of this season is "initiated by [Dexter's] desire to find faith. It provides him with a lot of avenues that he explores."
The sixth season of "Dexter" premieres on Oct. 2 on Showtime.
