UPDATES: 1/19/99 - Broncos healthy heading into Super Bowl
Denver should be in good health when they meet Atlanta in the Super Bowl on January 31st. Cornerback Darien Gordon sprained his knee in the fourth quarter of the AFC Championship while making an interception, but he is expected to be fine in a few days. Rookie safety Eric Brown is still bothered by a nagging groin injury, but that problem appears less of a concern now with the recent strong play of veteran Tyrone Braxton.

Kick-returner and backup running back Vaughn Hebron injured his hamstring in practice on Wednesday and could miss this weekend's game vs. Miami. Against those same Dolphins three weeks ago Hebron returned a kick-off 95 yards for a touchdown. If he's unable to play, Derek Loville would take over kick-off duties...Safety Eric Brown's groin injury has improved and he should start against Miami...Defensive end Neil Smith will play, but an abdominal strain will force him to see limited action. The Broncos will likely use him as a designated pass-rusher...Denver signed linebacker Tony Dumas.
